BAAN BULLAKoh Phangan, Thailand 2024Our design for a very compact, 3-bedroom holiday home, located on the stunning Haad Salad Beach, Koh Phangan. The site is only 324m² in size, with the internal area totaling just 150m². We implemented ideas that would help make the beach house feel larger, for example the continuation of the kitchen counter from inside to outside, cavities that allow for the concealment of glazing when open, green living walls that extend the full length of the site, out towards the sea. A large existing tree dominates the beach front, this will of course be retained providing much desired shade to the outdoor areas. |
