MANI MEKHALAKoh Phangan, Thailand 2021Our design for a family home takes advantage of this tapering site by spreading its functions across a series of separate pavilions. A central, meandering water feature guides visitors down and through the site. Pockets of lush, tropical landscape occupy spaces between the individual pavilions, creating special moments along the cascading waterway to play and relax. Extensive use of natural materials such as coconut thatch, timber and stone combined with textured stucco, help to enhance the ‘castaway’ feel. Under construction. |
